Eric Fischer was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Mark and Linda. Eric has one sister. Growing up in Ohio, Eric excelled in sports while also juggling a small acting career. At 17 years old he was drafted by the Chicago White Sox where he played for 6 years. It was in 2003 that Eric moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career however, Eric's agent called him and told him he had been traded to the Minnesota Twins. His acting career was put on hold. Eric retired from baseball in 2005 and immediately began booking commercials that led to work on feature films such as Scarlet Cross, Lifted, American Asian, and Redefining Normal. Eric owns Efish Entertainment, a production company working in film and TV. Eric is married to fellow actress and Filmmaker Brianna Lee Johnson.
He played major league professional baseball for eight years on both the Chicago White Sox and the Minnesota Twins ball teams.He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a childhood friend of "Redefining Normal" film star Anthony Campanello. The two remain best friends today.
