This child actress captivated producers and directors by her astonishing resemblance to popular adult actress Veronica Lake even appearing as Miss Lake's daughter in the 1942 film, "I Married a Witch". Her children with Crosby Newton were named Carol, David and Gail. Contracted polio in her early teens which is what led to the end of her career in film.
