Peter Malek is a born performer. He is a five year veteran of the acting world, and is constantly growing to expand his abilities as an actor. He has worked with some of the best filmmakers in Texas, and has recently taken his talents to the Hollywood level. Peter recently landed a supporting role in the feature film Cat Run 2 (2014) starring Scott Mechlowicz and Alphonso McAuley. He has won numerous awards on the festival circuit for his writing and acting in various films. Peter has a love for writing and performing in his own creations. He wrote and starred in the comedy short The Ahkbars (2013) which won the Audience Favorite Award at the Dallas 48 Film Festival. He also wrote and starred in the comedy Blood Line (2012) that competed in the Splatterfest Film Festival, and won the award for best ensemble cast as well as nominated for best screenplay. The Ahkbars has since been put into production as a web series. Peter recently was cast in the lead role in the feature comedy "Houston Actors" which is a hilarious inside look at people who "think" they are actors. He is a driven and motivated actor who has an extreme passion for the craft. He has a deep love for comedy, but also loves to dig into dark roles that people wouldn't normally expect him to be in. "I love to entertain and love the way I feel after a good movie, and that's what attracted me to act and to share that feeling with others." Peter was born in Houston and has lived in Spring, Texas for most of his life until making his move to Los Angeles in 2013.
