Jill Adler was born in Northridge, Calif., and raised in Encino- the good part of Southern Cal. She knew early in life that she wanted to be an actress, nabbing roles in every high school play she could from The Children's Hour to South Pacific. Following graduation from UCLA as an English major with minors in film analysis and political science, this energetic ski athlete jumped into broadcast journalism as a one-man-band for a small cable television station in Aspen, Colo., while also teaching skiing. She returned to Los Angeles to hone her skills in the broadcast department at USC. She attained her masters degree then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, working in television and radio for the local NBC affiliate while teaching at the posh Deer Valley Resort. Jill was a talented on-the-scene reporter, writing and editing her own news packages when she wasn't impressing her exclusive clientele with her on-hill skills. She also worked in commercial production as a writer, voiceover talent and editor and starred in two national infomercials in addition to roles on television series such as Touched By An Angel, Promised Land and Doctor Quinn Medicine Woman. Jill, taking a break from broadcast, completed law school at the University of Utah, and is a skilled mediator, but chose to return to media (and ski instruction). Her role in Salt Lake Acting Company's critically acclaimed "A Place in the Sky" brought her back on stage at night while she co-hosted (as Roxy) on the Mick and Allen radio show on ROCK99 in the mornings. She currently (2014) reports and produces feature stories for the Park City Info Channel and her own YouTube Channel while acting in local and worldwide films and commercials. With more than a dozen TV and movie projects within the last few years, Jill is one of the busiest actresses in Utah. When she's not in front of the camera, you can find Jill tearing up Alta, teaching at Canyons Resort or immersed in acting classes with accomplished coaches in both Utah and California including Kent Bateman, Frank Gerrish, Richard Hatch, Ann Sward, Dave Stevens, and Glenn Morshower. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Rachael Hodson
