Arthur Bryan (Marroquin)was born in McAllen, Texas in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. During his early childhood he grew up in Weslaco,TX and participated in many academic and talent competitions. In middle school, after performing with the Mid Valley Civic Community Theatre, he came to the realization that he would study and pursue acting in college. His first full production was Gypsy. Other performances over the next several years included Aesop's Fables, High School Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown!, a Midsummer Night's Dream, Over the River and Through The Woods which he won Best Actor for in the Texas U.I.L. competition circuit, the Interview and many others. Throughout his junior high and high school years he was the president of the Drama Club, school mascot, competed in a historically based theater competition- NHD and made it to State for three years, held an officer position in Science National Honor Society and Student Council, and was President of the WHS Chapter of National Honor Society. He decided to attend the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a theatre degree. He ultimately was awarded the Marcia Gay Harden Endowment Scholarship which is given to one undergraduate in the theatre department annually. During the time of his undergraduate studies he was cast in mainstage production's of Anton Checkov's- The Cherry Orchard, the world premiere of Bacha Bazi (originated the role of Boy), Spring Awkaening, and was in the Graduate production of Love's Labour's Lost directed by Lortel and Drama Desk nominee John Langs. Bryan was also in other productions such as Raven's Blanket with The David Mark Cohen New Works Festival, The Mint Julep Trilogy with Phoenix Productio and many more. Rosalia, a play based on the struggles of Bryan's mother's first marriage premiered at the University of Texas at Austin in the David Mark Cohen New Works Festival and had a subsequent production with Teatro Vivo in the Austin Latino Play Fesitval. Arthur is currently signed with Acclaim Talent in Austin, Texas and Page 713 in Houston, TX. His most recent films to feature him are Disassociationville by Twitchy Dolphin Flix to be released in 2015 and the SAG Feature-Film Lazer Team by Rooster Teeth which shoots in November 2014.
