Ransom Ashley grew up in Shreveport, LA where he was involved with his school and community theaters. Pursuing his love of storytelling in high school, he began auditioning for films and training between New Orleans and Los Angeles. It was around this time that he also developed an interest in photography and upon graduating, he moved to New York City to study photography at Parsons The New School for Design. Continuing to chase his passions, Ransom has been a part of various short and feature films while participating in photographic exhibitions internationally.
