Anna is quickly becoming one of the most dependable, hard working and versatile actresses in Hollywood. In four features due out this winter, Anna plays an eclectic mix of memorable roles, shining alongside Jim Carrey and Bradley Cooper (Yes Man), Chris McDonald (Reunion), Alexis Bledel and JK Simmons (Post Grad) and Milo Ventimiglia (Order Of Chaos). Anna first gained recognition on the big screen in last year's King Of California, as the unyielding cop who faces off with - and eventually is seduced by - Michael Douglas. With these roles, as well as her work on numerous television shows such as Numb3rs, Sleeper Cell, DIRT and Weeds as well as ABC's all improv half hour comedy pilot This Might Hurt, Anna is making a name for herself playing strong-willed, independent women.Anna started out in 99-seat theater in Los Angeles until 2005, when Taper Artistic Director, Gordon Davidson, cast her as the "Academic" in the US Premiere of David Hare's Stuff Happens. So memorable was her performance, the LA Times published a Special Opinion piece solely about her character and performance. In 2007, she originated the role of "Nerjas," delivering a moving 45 minute monologue in the West Coast Premiere of Canadian playwright Judith Thompson's Palace Of The End. For her performance as "Nerjas", she received a 2008 LA Weekly Award for Best Solo Performance and a nomination for the Lead Actress Ovation Award. She is a two time LA Weekly Award winner as well as a two time Ovation Nominee. For her theatrical performances she has received outstanding notice from the LA Times, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, LA Weekly, Curtain Up, City Beat and Backstage West.
