Jaime Zevallos is an Actor from Queens, New York. He first got in acting while studying at Queensborough Community College, where he got his two year degree in Performing Arts. He then went on to receive his B.F.A in film from C.W Post,Long Island University. After college he directed his first feature called "Double Down" which won him three film festival awards. While bartending and waiting tables in New York City he studied improv at the illustrious Hb Studios. He continued to star in a slue of indies and dozens of shorts while stretching his acting muscles. He also picked up the pen and inked a few screenplays that happened to get optioned. After years of honing his craft he moved out west. After moving to Los Angeles he booked a principal role in Michael Eisner's series Sam Has 7 Friends, which was nominated for an Emmy. After booking several TV and Film roles, he continues to look for interesting projects. He enjoys the theatre and making small films with his friends. When not working he enjoys the beach, even in the winter.
Has optioned two Screenplays as a screenwriter.Was raised in Queens and Long Island New York.Worked for years as a New York City Bartender.Began his path of an artist as New York City Graffiti Writer.Learned filmmaking in order to one day make his own movies. He learned on 16mm. Since then he has become a "wannabe" film historian.Was yelled at by a professor at the university he attended by writing such a perverse and controversial screenplay. He smiled and proceeded to graduate.Loves working with animals, especially dogs. While trying to rescue a stray pit-bull he got bitten in the face, but only has a small scar.Wanted to become a pro skateboarder as a young teen.Studied Improv at Hb Studios, Second City and The Film Acting Studio with NYC private Coach, Jeffrey Stocker.Is a huge animal rights person.
