It's worse than The Village.

The film opens with a very similar feel to Cloverfield and to that regard it already kicked my brain out of enjoyment mode and jump-started it into critic mode. Let's just say if I were to grade the actors overall performance, I would give it a C- at best. A huge let down based on the talent I have seen from some of the cast in television shows and past movies. I did notice some unique ideas in this movie, but they were executed very poorly. Throughout the movie I found myself struggling to fill in the gaps in the already lacking plot that desperately needed to be addressed. For example, how did the "alien spaceships" have a perfect socket for the human brain, when this was apparently their first time invading Earth? Now granted, I can see how it is necessary to overstep the bounds of logic to create a great story. However, this oversteps it so far that it just leaves you scratching your head puzzled throughout the course of the film. I would not recommend this movie to anyone.

I should have known the moment I saw Turk from Scrubs that this was going to be one of the worst movies I had ever seen. Terrible acting, predictable nonexistent plot with no point, and the worst dialogue ever uttered in movie history. The characters and their little subplots were annoying and boring. How this movie made it into theaters, I'll never know-this is B movie, straight-to-video kind of quality. The ending was hilarious because they actually left a really obvious opening for a sequel. Yeah right, why would anyone want to endure more of that torture?

This movie suck really bad!!! It had no Story Line, and No Plot. If you are going to see it PLEASE GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!! This should had went straight to DVD. BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Skyline plain and simple is an effects showcase... nothing more nothing less. Me and my wife saw commercials and it caught our eyes so when Tuesday $5.00 movie day came along we went to check it out. The plot is basically Jarrod (Eric Balfour), and Jarrod's pregnant girlfriend (Scottie Thompson) go to visit Jarrod's childhood friend (Donald Fazion) in Los Angeles. They go to sleep after a night of partying and Aliens invade and all hell breaks loose. That's it. Now i'm unsure what people where expecting here maybe another Star Wars or A Close encounters of the Third kind but this movie is neither what it is if you leave your high expectations at home is alot of fun. If your into Giants aliens and explosions this is the movie for you. The ending leaves the movie up to sequelitits and I'm more then game. I'd say go see it as a matinee or rent it if your are looking for a fun no brainer of a film.
