Trailers for the move looked good. It had intenseness to it; however, the movie - well - sucked! I was surprised Harrison Ford would even remotely agree to a movie like this . And the lead male role - Are you kidding me? Was not convinced he could tie his own shoes let alone articulate computer programming or chip technology. The lead female role - love interest - Really? If her goal was to play a dysfunctional ***** - she nailed it. What guy would have been attracted to this type of character? Quick lay possibly, but that is it. Where's my cab fare, *****? Anyway total waste of time and money. Wanted to leave because I was uncomfortable watching such bad acting a piss poor story unfold. Paranoia? Yes, now I am paranoid to go to anymore movies this summer, thank you!

The storyline was decent, though not original (cutting edge technology and espionage). And the acting was OK, but nothing memorable. Would stood out was the preponderance of closeups on Hemsworth, or Heard, or Hemsworth and Heard. The Paranoia creators are certainly banking on "actor beauty" to make bank, but that didn't seem to be the case on opening night at the 7:30 pm showing. The auditorium was 80% empty. I don't think this movie will do well in the long haul.

Don't miss it, if you want to feel good and enjoy watching the bad guys get what they deserve. Harrison Ford and Richard Dreyfus are better "old men" than they were "kids". Gary Oldman? He just gets better and better. And Liam Hemsworth? Watch your backs Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper.

Paranoia is a film where its title only refers to its own self-inflicted feelings that someone will realize by minute 2 that this movie doesn?t have an ounce of wit and intelligence. This movie wasn?t just bad, it was obnoxiously bad. From the ludicrously pale and unrealistic exchange between Wyatt and Adam that starts this nonsense to its 10 minute voice-over at the end that basically says nothing more than ?and I was ok,? I can?t help but feel that Paranoia knew early on that it was wasting your time, but was really hoping that you?d be too stupid to notice. I can?t help but feel a little bit offended. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. If you?re craving a good corporate espionage movie, filled with wit and charm and engaging characters that pull you into a great story and don?t treat you like it?s your first day out of the womb, I urge you to watch Duplicity instead.
