Storyline:
How far would you go to protect your family? Keller Dover is facing every parent's worst nightmare. His six-year-old daughter, Anna, is missing, together with her young friend, Joy, and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had earlier been parked on their street. Heading the investigation, Detective Loki arrests its driver, Alex Jones, but a lack of evidence forces his release. As the police pursue multiple leads and pressure mounts, knowing his child's life is at stake the frantic Dover decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. But just how far will this desperate father go to protect his family?

I used to own a video rental outlet and we were begging for films like this to be released. This type of movie will rent forever and make more money than all the big blockbusters put together. My wife and I sat in silence throughout the whole movie. what a movie, its a pity that it will not get the media cover it deserves. Reminds me of a movie called To Catch A Killer. Superb films both of them.

I was against going for a long time, but my husband insisted on going. i couldn't imagine watching a movie about two girls being abducted - too close to home. But the focus of the story is on the dad and the role this man and his family felt he played in the family.
throughout the movie you get subtle reassurances that the girls are alright, and in the end the harm they endured was horrible, but didn't make me want to throw up as i was afraid i would feel.
it was a gripping movie, incredibly acted and a very interesting look into a father's choice of fight vs. his wife's choice of flight.

A movie of Hitchcock proportions. In a suspenseful way the movie brings the message that we are prisoners of our own dark nature. The question the movie asks is, "What would it take for each of us to lose our morals and humanity?" Though appearing slow to start every word and scene has meaning and is a piece of the puzzle. Each part is so interconnected that taking to long to settle into your seat will cause you to miss the coin phrases that frame the message of the movie. The director shows us that man is only one step away from coming face to face with his own inner demons. It is then that the biblical message of praying for forgiveness becomes so profoundly touching.
