Storyline:
How far would you go to protect your family? Keller Dover is facing every parent's worst nightmare. His six-year-old daughter, Anna, is missing, together with her young friend, Joy, and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had earlier been parked on their street. Heading the investigation, Detective Loki arrests its driver, Alex Jones, but a lack of evidence forces his release. As the police pursue multiple leads and pressure mounts, knowing his child's life is at stake the frantic Dover decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. But just how far will this desperate father go to protect his family?

We were totally into the film for the entire 2 min and 33 seconds.
I don't think this movie would have much interest for kids under 12. But great for all other ages. You do have to pay attention or you will get lost in the story line.

An absolute stunner--one of the best movies of this genre in years. The script is tight, clever, and the characters complex and vivid. The action is thrilling without being manipulative or predictable. Another Oscar nomination for Melissa Leo, and Jackman too.

If you enjoy extremely dark movies with little to no plot and not one character to root for, you'll love this film. Can't believe the actors thought this was a good script. Make your own decision, but I would like my money and 2-1/2 hours back....

This movie is consuming. Shows the astonishing depths people will resort to when feeling powerless and frustrated in the face of tragedy. The plot twists were surprising and I kept having conversations with the characters as they bumped through their own depravity. That said, I found the characters believable and well-portrayed. We all deal with grief differently. The ending was a surprise, but, on reflection, right. Stellar performances all around.

Now I will be more paranoid with my children then I was before.......My husband did not want to go and he did not have one nail left when it was over... That speaks volumes.......
