Storyline:
Tuesday, June 4, 1968: the California presidential primary. As day breaks arrives at the Ambassador Hotel; he'll campaign, then speak to supporters at midnight. To capture the texture of the late 1960s, we see vignettes at the hotel: a couple marries so he can avoid Vietnam, kitchen staff discuss race and baseball, a man cheats on his wife, another is fired for racism, a retired hotel doorman plays chess in the lobby with an old friend, a campaign strategist's wife needs a pair of black shoes, two campaign staff trip on LSD, a lounge singer is on the downhill slide. Through it all, we see and hear RFK calling for a better society and a better nation.

Great Movie - showing that political leadership is possible without going on a road to war but by trying to get out of the mess. Great actors, seemingly confusing plot with different strings that all end up to one mosaic. One understands how very different people look for something similiar: A sense in politics which uses power for a purpose instead of just being the purpose

Was not so much about Bobby as it was about the people who were caught up in the assassination. Was fast moving and very watchable. I give it 2 1/2 stars (out of 4) and add a star if you were born in the late 40's early 50's.

This was a well made movie of a group of Hotel employees on the day of the shooting. Is was a sincere look at an the shooting, carefully engineered to put actual scenes of Bobby Kennedy before he died. His death ended an era in this country and we have been spiralling down since his death. I recommend this for all adults and young americans. It was history revisited.

This movie was very enjoyable. The entire cast does a very nice job and the plot moves along at a perfect pace. This movie really highlighted a specific event in American history and exposed it to a younger generation in a well-constructed and interesting movie.
