The movie overall was very well done. A realistic account of recent years events.

I liked the move very much, as a business person, I had great empathy for the characters. The movie showed how leadership can both build and destroy a company and careers. Some of the characters were able to grow from the experience, which was heartening. Others just gave up. The acting was excellent, especially Ben Allfeck, Tommy Lee Jones, and Chris Cooper. I thought that Kevin Costner was under utilized. This is a movie for young adults through seniors. It is very realistic, and the ending is very fulfilling. Go see it, you will not be disappointed.

We appreciated this film It showed you what a stable, seemingly solid financially family goes through when the breadwinner loses his job. It also demonstrates, again, the callous nature of the corporate world today. We though Ben Affleck is not a very good actor, and gives another one note appearance here. But Cooper, Costner and Jones are amazing and give heartbreaking and complex performances. We left getting grateful for having jobs and a roof over our head.
