Alessandra started her career at age 9 when she auditioned for a Canadian children's series, Ricky's Room, through word of mouth and kept with the series until the end of its run. From then on, she has never stopped performing on stage or in front of the cameras. She is an adventurous, energetic girl that, before finding her love of the arts, experimented in figure skating, acrobatics, baseball, lacrosse, skiing, and martial arts.Now 18 years old, Alessandra has graduated from Mayfield Secondary School for the Arts where she majored in Vocal Music and Vocal Jazz. She is a singer and actor with many theatre credits, her favorites include Dorothy in The WIZ, Gabriella in High School Musical, and The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts' RYC, where she was the proud recipient of RYC's first "Performer of the Year Award".Her voice can be heard in cartoons and radio spots such as IKEA, Queen Gig in Care Bears Big Wish Movies I & III and Snow White in the new animation series Super Why. She has also guest starred in movies and TV series, most recently, the Toronto-made feature film Saturday, Disney's Jump! and Degrassi: The Next Generation. You may also recognize her from commercials including Rogers Home Phone and Cheer True Fit.Alessandra takes great pride in all her charity events including the Easter Seals Foundation, Breast Cancer Foundation, Future Possibilities, and the Wings of Hope Foundation. She will be attending Ryerson's Radio and Television Arts program this September followed by the prestigious Berklee College of Music in September 2010 where she was awarded with the World Tour Scholarship.
