MOVIES REVIEWER

Wed 5/20 - I just attended the advance preview of this 88-mins send-up of dance movies by the Wayans family. After I saw the last movie parody, Disaster Movie, I was really apprehensive about going to see more movies of this genre. Initially, I could care less for DANCE FLICK - but to my utter amazement, this movie was funny - funnier than the disastrous DISASTER MOVIE. The Wayans family(2 generations) scripted this fast-paced zany rib-tickling fun-fest in their signature no-holds-barred comedic style along the same veins as IN LIVING COLOR sketches and the movie, WHITE CHICKS. While I was not expecting Oscar-winning performances - I was entertained by the antics and delivery of the smart talented cast. I laughed at some scenes, giggled at others and froze-chagrined at some. The production values is above-average for movies of the spoofs-genre. VERDICT: Recommended for fans of the Wayans. Be prepared for some gross and incredulously ridiculous scenes.

the movie was very funny and very entertaining. I don't think I stopped laughing during the entire movie. There were a few parts towards the end that didn't make sense though. Overall, its a good movie.
