The movie was enjoyable for the entire family. My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grand-daughter went. I wish Hollywood would take notice and attempt to make more films (not cartoons, or computer generated) like this!

This surprising film, delighted! Clever (!) writing. Unexpected events. Top-notch casting. Wow. A spirit booster. OUR AUDIENCE CLAPPED. We did, too. MOST highly recommended.

A sweet, sensitive and convincing movie and one of the few I've seen recently where I actually cared about the characters. The situations and the characters ring true and the acting is great, particularly Rene Zellweger and newcomer Logan Lerman. The project appears to have been a labor of love, and my inclination was to share the emotion. And if an episodic structure somewhat slows down the narrative energy, the special moments more than make up the difference.
