i caught the screening last night and i must say, this film was as good or better than the first one and better than the 2nd. you will laugh, cry,and remember your childhood. pixar has done it again and continue to lead the world in creativity

How many trilogies can you think of where all 3 movies are REALLY strong, have something new to say about the characters, and keep to the theme of the original? Lord of the Rings, the original Star Wars, Back to the Future are three. Spiderman and Terminator held true on the first two installments, but both delivered weak on the third. It is indeed a rare thing. I could go on, but hopefully you'll appreciate that the Toy Story trilogy is one of the strongest ever made. A triple-threat of Pixar's powerful storytelling, each movie with a unique direction to take the characters, all based on the original idea of what it's like to be a toy. And btw, no part of this review refers to the gimmicky and worn-out 3D glasses, prone to distort the movie if your viewpoint moves as much as 2 inches. The stupid plastic things remind you again and again that you're in a movie theatre, watching a movie, with big, honkin' fat 3D glasses on It was a good ride while it lasted. Bye.

Toy Story 3 was great! Sweet and touching. Fun and action-packed. Pixar has done it again! Took my soon to be 4 year old and he loved it. Some moments of peril that had him on the edge of his seat, but he did OK. Great movie for a family to go see together.

makes us want lasting relationships

Another great Toy Story movie - but ideal for older kids. My 4 year old was a little uneasy during a couple of the scenes and even referred back to those as being "scary" for a night or two after. I would still recommend it - but probably best for ages 6 and up. Adults of course will enjoy it as well..
