Storyline:
Mark Unwin is one of four employees of Krielsen International oil company captured by militant group MEND whilst they are working in Nigeria. His wife Claire flies out with Alice Onuko, Nigerian-born,British-raised P.R. for Krielsen. When the women arrive in Port Harcourt they are told a ransom has been agreed - as is the norm since MEND depends on ransoms to fund itself. However when civil rights worker Keme, acting as go-between, escorts the women to the handover place they find only the corpses of Mark and his co-workers. Next day Claire meets a journalist who tells her the men were killed by the Nigerian government after their release by MEND and he is himself later found dead. She also learns that he was having an affair with Angel, a prostitute, whom she confronts but who is whisked away in a car before she can say anything. Alice is equally shocked to find that her father has made his money less than scrupulously from oil...

I am a HUGE fan of Harry I love the books, the author and the movies. I greatly anticipated this movie ever since it was pushed back from november to July but was a little dissapointed to find that the director missed out on so many important parts that made the book one of the best. Although it was an outstanding acting preformance from all of the actors, especially teenage Tom riddle, the movie was more based on teenage love than of the importance of Dumbledore's and Harry's close relationship. I was deeply dissapointed that Neville (my favorite character) didn't say not one word in the entire movie. Also the fact that there was absolutly NO battle scene! Also, dumbledore had no funeral. This movie was supposed to give harry all the information about Voldemort and his horecruxes but failed to achieve the goal of the book. Overall, the movie was great acting wise, but if you read the book don't get your hopes up because I'm afraid this movie might disapoint you.

Frankenstein's Monster

to begin with, it is absurd to think and believe that a 652 page book, (and yes i double checked that number), can be made into a word by word movie of only 2 hours and 33 minutes! with that being said, people have to see this as a movie, not as a book of the series! it's only being BASED on the sixth book of the series, not a word by word recap made into film. by itself, this movie was fantastic. with the time limit it had, it brought the crucial points of the story, such as new feelings the characters are first experiencing, (love), and the history of Lord Voldemort. though, as many, i was surprised that a few scenes were left out. i won't say which, you have to see the movie to find out! it still gave and showed the critical information. i can't express how gratifying it is to see the characters of the pages come alive in the big screen, and it was well worth waiting in line for at the midnight showing. you have to see this movie to experience it! it won't disappoint!

i went to the London premier of this film...i had heard it was superb but..me not being a HP fan..expected it to be an overblown fan cry for it to be good. i was wrong...dead wrong. this is so good..that it puts Prisioner of Askaban (my favorite HP movie) to shame. The story is slowly explained. Not like other movies that everything happens so fast...you miss it leaving you with a big HUH?!? Great acting from Daniel Radcliffe and Alan Rickman. Also on many suporting cast memebers like Helen Boham Carter. 4.5/5 A message to regular moviegoers and HP fans alike....you will be beging for the last two!

This movie was an absolute disgrace to the franchise that is Harry Potter, I dont even want to see the next two. There was a scene (made up) that lasted two minutes that was all the action, like when the heck did the burrow fall to pieces??? The rest was some sappy wannabe romantic comedy. The cut out the biggest fight scene in Harry Potter TO DATE and left out all the memories that hinted towards the next horcruxes and why Tom Riddle ended up the way he did, there was no voldemort either. I have honestly never been so disappointed, David Yates has lost the entire feel of what was Harry Potter and should be ashamed, as well as fire before he can destroy what little dignity this movie series still has left. i want my time and money back.
