If non-stop crude language and gross-out humor are what you're looking for, then you'll probably like this movie more than me. Not that I'm a prude, but I like a little more creativity in my comedies, a recent example being Hot Tub Time Machine. Russell Brand is fine, Sean Combs improves every scene he is in, there are some clever cameos, and the rest of the supporting cast is OK, but the movie hangs on Jonah Hill and he just doesn't pull it off. I didn't care for him in Superbad but Michael Cera redeemed that movie, and most of his other roles have been much smaller, but here he is in virtually every scene. There was one hilarious bit and some other chuckles, but mostly I felt uninterested in his antics. Wait for the video if you want to see this movie, but check out My Favorite Year while you're at it, which is the hugely superior 1982 comedy that inspired some of this movie's plot line.

The movie was absolutely hillarious. All of the actors were great. I laughed so hard I could barely catch my breath. This is a must see movie.

Didn't find this movie too enticing, there were a few scenes that had me laughing pretty hard - Sean Combs was key to the movie, and I thought Russell Brand was cast well in his role as Aldous Snow. The rest of the cast, for the most part, including lead Jonah Hill, left a bit to be desired, was not funny, rather boring, and I can't say that I would recommend going to this one guys and gals...

Coming in to this movie I expected vomit, tripping out, and a bunch of laughs. What I got was that and so much more. Who would have thought Russell Brand actually knew what he was doing? He makes this movie something to remember by giving a genuwine performance. The laughs are there, but there is emotional depth hiding on top of the layers of drunken-drug addicted filth. A highly recommended film to anyone who can laugh and take a message in as well.

By the time this movie hit it's climax, my stomach hurt from laughing. Judging by the crowd we saw it with, everyone else felt the same. It really gets off the wall, go see it.
