I was so looking forward to a cute, HAPPY sequel. After watching the first movie the night before, and remembering just how much I liked it, I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
1st Complaint- Not age appropriate for kids under 7... Too scary
2nd- story was too focused on heavy world issues "Global Warming, End of World, Earthquakes..."
3rd- Too violent, mean spirited
For a movie called "Happy" Feet, I guess I expected more happy.

My 11 and 7 year olds and I might admit, myself all really enjoyed this movie. I even found myself singing and dancing in my seat. I loved it!

Way too scary for my 4 year old. Had to leave less than half way through, although the first Happy Feet is one of her favorite movies, and not too scary. Not many funny parts mixed in with the serious parts (during the first half we saw).

Love the singing!! The movie lasted just long enough for my 3 year old to watch the whole thing without getting antsy, but it kept my 63 year old mother wanting more :)
However, the krills were an overkill though...

I was disappointed in this movie. Here's why:
1) Too scary - my 3 year old indicated several times that it was too scary
2) Too much bad singing - I don't want to hear Pink singing for 5 minutes in a kids movie
3) Bad plot and no character development - I didn't see the point of the Eric penguin...he was just made fun of and didn't evolve into the key character which you expected
4) More bad singing
