to your wish list?
Storyline:
Becky (Rachel McAdams) is a hard-working morning TV show producer, or at least she was until she got fired. Desperate to get a job, she finally gets an interview with Jerry (Jeff Goldblum) - who is desperate to hire a producer for the struggling show "Daybreak". Becky accepts the job and it proves to be more difficult than even she might be able to handle. She has to fire the sexist co-host, then try to convince egotistical news reporter, Mike Pomeroy (Harrison Ford), to take the job, and then try and get him to actually do the job, properly. And she has to do this while falling for handsome Adam (Patrick Wilson), and trying to save the show from plummeting ratings. Will Becky be able to hold on to her dream job and her sanity?

Saw a free preview and liked it more than I thought I would. Rachel McAdams is fine as a cute, perky, intelligent workaholic, but Harrison Ford steals the show as a much-revered idol well past his prime. The comedy started fairly lame but really picked up in the second half of the movie. There were some nice dramatic moments and Diane Keaton improved every scene she was in. Jeff Goldblum was wasted, and Patrick Wilson, the hunky star supplying the romance element of this romantic comedy, could have been played by a Ken doll. A good rental or if you need a safe choice at the theaters.

...the preview scenes, then you knew what you were getting into and have no business criticizing it. I knew it was fluff, but went for Harrison Ford. I was really surprised at how much I liked Morning Glory.Another example of McAdams totally enveloping and humanizing her character. She has never disappointed me,except for that stupid time travel movie, then again, she did her best fora scattered storyline. For once,Keaton didn't overact and try to upstage everyone and hit her role just right. Jeff Goldlum gets better all the time, whether the role is large or small. And Harrison, although has a tendency to constantly use the same expression, always is amazing to watch. I totally loved the debate on what 'news' should be as well. BTW-I agree with Ford's character!!!!! I say 'GO' to see McAdams shine, but if you are not a big fan of hers, can wait for small screen. I will go once more.
