First I want to say that I am a big fan of Die Hard series and when I first heard that they are making a new Die Hard, I was excited! After seeing this film, I left dissatisfied. Not only it does not feel like a Die Hard, its also not a very good film. The plot SUCKS, the villains are NOT memorable, acting is so-so but 90% of this movie is all shooting and explosions so you can't get a connection with the main characters, AND THE WORST PART OF THIS MOVIE IS THE YIPPE-KAI-YAYMOTHER F***KER WAS NOT EPIC AT ALL! This is the worst Die Hard in this series; yes, even Live Free or Die Hard is even better then this. The only thing that it says it from giving it a OH NO is the action, its average; its alright but its going to sound weird but its way too much. If you are a Die Hard fan, you will be disappointed! For everyone else, you might or might not like it, I would say to just rant it: you are not missing anything that is a must see. I give a high NO, very close to a SO-SO.

I went to this movie wanting to like it but it lacks the humor of the previous movies as well as a memorable villain. The reason I gave it a so so and not a no is that it is an action movie and there is plenty of it. But the little to no plot, one dimensional characters, lack of subtitles during Russian speaking scenes, and lack of humor left me feeling unfulfilled. Save the 13 bucks and rent it.

Let me start by saying all the haters should lay off. The Die hard franchise has a formula that works, if you go in expecting Lincoln material you'll be disappointed. That being said I love these movies and hope they can continue for as long as old Bruce can handle it. There are a ton of old age references throughout the movie that add humor to it. The opening 20min with the highway chase is some of the best action to date.. This Movie isn't rocket science and it's not claiming to be but if you like action and/or the franchise go see it. You'll love it..

Nothing boring about this film. End to end action but a tad short on a real plot this time around. Still, who would dare balk at this generation's John Wayne? Willis fills that bill Pilgrim and then some. See this movie. It's worth the ticket price. You won't be disappointed.

I'm a Die Hard / Bruce Willis fan, seen them all, from the beginning many moons ago but this one is not up to snuff. I'll give Bruce another chance in the new GI Joe out soon. Basically this one DIED HARD with me.......................but I'm 65 now.......
