A movie about a couple who inherit a baby when their friends are killed. The lead actors are very likable, and the baby is so adorable. How many takes must they have to get the reaction they want from the baby? I'm glad I didn't listen to the critics. If you like an easy, funny and touching movie , see it. Good for all ages.

This movie has been done many times before, I'm not going to spoil it for anybody. But you see the twists coming and you know how its all going to fall back into place by the end of the movie. It was kind of a slow movie on top of that, its worth a rental but save your money for next month when we start getting some good movies you want to see at the theater come out.

Wife and I LOVED this movie. Laughed, cried. Lots of eye candy for the ladies, which is great for the gents...later. Pacing was great, acting was great, especially the babysitter. She stole every scene, and we wished there were more scenes with her in them. Nice to see Lucas working again. Great all around movie for a date with your wife or girlfriend. Believe me, guys won't be thinkin it's all lame, and girls...well, frickin A, it's got Josh struttin' around in his boxer briefs, so what more do you need? I'd go see it again and then by the DVD.

Great Movie and story line! Made us laugh and cry. Worth seeing again!

If you love romantic comedies, you should truly enjoy "Life As We Know It." It has all the rom-com mainstays: attractive leading couple, a hilarious "Meet Cute," pretty outfits/fashion, interesting portrayal or fun occupations (she is a baker, he is director of basketball TV coverage), funny sideline characters, and, of course, a love story with real chemistry. Best of all, this movie doesn't ask the audience to just "accept" various plot points--it actually shows the characters falling in love, struggling with conflict, being outraged, being attracted, and ultimately living Happily Ever After. I spotted a couple of totally acceptable contrivances; but mostly, the story and relationship is believable and the characters are genuine. We've seen this story before, and we'll see it again, but it's been a while since I've seen it done so well. Top-notch acting; oh, and the leading man? I wasn't very familiar with Josh Dumhell (sp?), but I'm certainly a fan now!
