If you're any kind of fan at all of Tarentino's flicks or the Coen Brothers' type of films, you MUST see this one! Seven Psychopaths is a dark, yet side-splittingly funny action movie, with fine, slightly over the top acting by all concerned only adding to the fun. It benefits from a very Intelligent and witty script. Sam Rockwell is hilarious - he's an actor to definitely keep an eye on. I love this movie! Oh . . . and as if all that isn't enough, it has Christopher Walken too!

If you can take the bloody violence - and even most of that is done in fun -- you will enjoy Seven Psychopaths. There is also an attempt to drift into the realm of metaphysics as the characters ponder how their actions will impact future situations. Just sit back and let the craziness happen!

While there were several funny punch lines in the movie, we were disappointed with the movie overall. Woody Harrelson wasn't as funny as I had hoped and the plot was all over the place. It would be an okay rental movie, but wasn't worth the outrageous theater prices.

Great actors and great one liners ----scattered, unrelated hilarity on occasion ---- otherwise gruesome and the bloody visual detract from any dialogue. Otherwise way too obvious "guy" mania trying to be so on the edge, but disappointing and boring most of the time. Dark humor to the excess. Advertisements and TV clips of film definitely show only the best part.

Very rarely do I see a flick where I haven't figured out the plot in ten minutes and that doesn't seem forced. Sam Rockwell steals nearly every scene.
