The movie was very predictable, but good. I like it when they can make a film without the profanity & nudity & have it still appeal to teens. The lead guy, Thomas McDonall, reminds me a lot of a young Johnny Depp. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him!!!

70 out of 100 Sweet and entertaining but you wish it could have been better.

The movie was okay, very predictable story line and clearly meant for teens, but maybe more so even for middle schoolers rather than high schoolers. Not a bad way to spend a rainy afternoon, but wouldn't pass up time with friends at teh beach for this movie.

As the mother of an 8 year old girl - I was a little apprehensive about going to see 'Prom'. I didn't know if it was age appropriate or if I even wanted to start the prom hype this early. After reading some reviews and talking to another mom, we thought it would be okay. And you know what? It wasn't bad - in fact, it was actually pretty good. Of course it's Disney so there was good messaging throughout the film, but it was well done and I found myself caring about the characters. i just wish my high school experience had been like that. One review said there was mild language, but I didn't catch any - and though a bit 'romantic' at times, it was very appropriate and sweet. I was happy when the girls I took all said "EEE***....." when there was a kiss. Check it out - it was a fun way to spend the evening with three 8 year old girls.

The only reason I went to this movie was because I was ditching my senior prom with a friend and we thought it was a cool idea to go to Prom on prom night. The movie was predictable and the plot was shallow. However, if you are in the right mood it will make you laugh and it does have its funny moments. Overall though, you won't be missing much if you don't end up seeing it.
