Overall, this movie is decent. It does its job as serving as an intro to the series and its job as a standalone movie, but I think it does a better job as the former. The animation is great and original, something I have never seen before. The action is great and engrossing and by the last third of it, I was literally asking for a break. The music is original and fits well, but barely any John Williams. The plot is cohesive and does fairly in holding up the movie as if it was "stand alone". The Anakin-Ahsoka dynamic works well and the clones have a better role, but, this leads to decreased roles in other important characters in the movie. Really, this movie could use another half hour in running time (it comes in at 98 min.), it would totally strengthen the movie and make it better. Once you accept this movie for what it is and get rid of your preconceived notions, you will like this movie.

I thought it was a good movie and so did my 10 year old son. He can't wait till the next one comes out. It starts out a little slow but 15 minutes in and you are hooked. Has lot of action, good story, and some humor. It is worth the money to see this on the big screen. Kids will love this!!!

How can you even rate this movie when it hasn't even came out yet....Don't say something is stupid or dumb when you haven't even seen it yet.

I am really disappointed in this film. I am an animator by trade and short of being a snob I would like to impart that this movie is bad. The story line is awful and the animation was an insult. This movie was made as an attempt to erase what cartoon network had already released as the clone wars saga. If you want a good star wars clone wars then I suggest you look into the 2d cartoon made for cartoon network. It was engaging and fulfilled what fans want to see from the star wars universe. This film is an insult and its interest is only after demeaning an already good story and selling merchandising. I said good day sir!!

I saw this at an early screening and went in with extraordinarily low expectations .....and came out with a big grin on my face, satisfied that I had had a great "Star Wars" experience. The animation style is really wonderful, but it takes some getting used to, there's no doubt. Loved the new character of Anakin's padawan and there's a good villain (a woman!). There's an amazing amount of action--it's non-stop action, pretty much! It may be a DIFFERENT "Star Wars," but just barely, and if you ask me, I wonder why "Star Wars" hasn't ALWAYS been animated. After seeing it (and I WILL see it again, which is more than I can say for "Indiana Jones"!), I feel like I've become a born-again "Star Wars" fan!!
