went to midnight release of Sinister last night expecting to be scared. instead i sat waiting and waiting and waiting for the movie to get interesting. there were several long drawn out scenes of domestic squabbling that could have been edited out. not enough scenes of Bagul. in all, i left the theater in silence which is a sure sign i DID NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME. as a TRUE fan of the horror genre, i am telling you, save your money and wait for the DVD release cos it sincerely disappointed.

Very good movie, not one of those short normal horror flicks where everyone dies and it just ends. Really freaky movie and I wouldn't suggest sleeping alone after watching it. Id rate it 8/10! I would see it again.

This movie is nothing that you expect it to be! It had me jumping out of my seat at times and has an unexpected ending! If you like a good thriller/horror like I do i recommend seeing this!

The exposition in this movie was almost too much. The whole movie was dark, in an attempt to make it scarier, but it makes no sense why a writer would do all of his work in the dark. It was okay and there were some good parts, but it was pretty hokey.

If you are expecting to be screaming and jumping off your seat this is not the movie. There are a few (very few) times I'd jump but for the most part it was predictable. There was some good humor along with some gore but overall not as scary as I'd hope it be.
