Although there were some funny parts the attempt by the filmmakers to create a sense of reality created long streams of boredom. There are only so many bong smokers, naked bodies, and chaos that will hold an audience attention. Finally the resolution was not unlike "American Graffiti". The great anarchy films were made in the 60's and 70's - Gimme Shelter, Woodstock, Easy Rider, Medium Cool...... The filmmakers have made one great film, Hangover. They forgot the formula that got them to where they are.

The director missed the mark on this, the movie is targeted at teenagers 15-18 but uses profanity, sex and drugs making it an R rated movie, the targeted group is not allowed in. The movie is stupid theaters are carding anyone who does not look 17 or older - great job there! Not worth my time or money - pure junk!!

This movie had a few moments that were genuinely funny. Other than that, expect a lot of filler. I left the theater feeling uncomfortable and really concerned for the future of America's youth.

This is a well done picture. If you remember the late 60s - early 70s...this is a very sad picture of today's kids trying to have a little fun and being hassled into oblivion for no good reason. Any typical rock concert had more...sex/drugs/fun....and culture. See what happens when you try to stiffle the drive to party, you get a friggin riot eventually. Exept this scene makes Altamount look like a video game. Project X is like a warning: What this drab dreary old country needs right now is exactly what worked in 1969....better weed, cleaner drugs, louder tunes, more hair and less clothing. Put some real "tea" back in these tea party-creepers! NOTE: kewest scene? Dad gets a contact high..like maybe he won't need that 12" ***** anymore if his kid can just keep the music playin. Let's hope this is NOT the "Woodstock" of the "20-teens generation"!

Just saw midnight show last night. Was soldout got some of last tickets. So good and hilarious! A+ Great comedy situations and characters. Loved the roof scene complete with helicopters worth a watch just for that! Absolute must see if you are over 18 even the Craigslist dads like in the movie!!
