Its distinctive roles played by Kirsten Dunst, Jay Hernandez, Bruce Davidson, Lucinda Jenney, Taryn Manning and more, fully embody their characters with a zeal that is as charismatic as it is believable. It is largely set at Palisades Charter High School and the surrounding area, including downtown Pacific Palisades, Malibu (where Dunst's character lives), and East Los Angeles (where Hernandez's character lives).
