Storyline:
In San Diego, Sarah Landon is invited by her grandmother's friend, Thelma Shaw, to spend the weekend with her in Pine Valley, California. Sarah used to spend vacations there during her childhood with her recently-deceased friend Megan. While heading to Pine Valley, her car breaks down and Carlos, the mechanic, calls his assistant, Matt Baker, to give her a ride. Sarah knows Matt from her childhood and asks about his older brother, David. Meanwhile Carlos tells a sad story about their uncle, Ben Woods. He apparently used to brag about his only son, Johnny, considered by Ben to be the best baseball player in the Valley. On his twenty-first birthday, Ben's sister Mary Ann Baker decided to celebrate with Johnny but she had a car accident and the teenager died. Ben promised to kill David Baker on his twenty-first birthday and he dies on the day of Johnny's funeral. Over the years...

This would be quite an awful movie. I personally think it was originally supposed a straight-to-DVD movie, but maybe they were sponsored too much by Nickelodeon. I wouldn't watch this if I had a choice. The only scary parts were when the cat jumps out unexpectedly. And I'm sure most of the movie budget was spent on turnips. So, if I were you, don't overpass The Seeker for this movie on your birthday. (Bad idea, believe me)

I think this show would be a fabulous Video. It would be great for sleep overs for kids 8-14. I really looked past the actors because it told a story and there were a lot of jump out of your seat surprises. If you are older then tween and want to see it ,don't go unless you are with younger kids. They really seem to like it and don't care who the actors are. It was good ,clean ,non violent,and did not have a bunch of senseless swearing. I really can't think of another scary show that I would feel comfortable letting my younger kids watch when they had friends over. I don't think their parents care what they watch as long as it isn't abusive,violent or sexual. Oh well , everyone is entitled to an opinion ,although I agree that it might be better suited to watch at home then at the theatre

Who ever doesn't like this movie obviously bas been to too many blood and guts movies and doesn't remember what a spooky movie is! Although this movie had no big name stars, or any blood and gore....it had it's spooky moments. The story line was good, the characters were believable. I enjoyed it because it had a basic spooky theme to it. It had mystery to it, and it REALLY was a ghost story! The writers did their research about the paranormal and I would recommend this movie to anyone who's looking for a good old fashioned scary story! The two guys in the movie were cute as could be, along with the girl who played Sarah.

This was my 9 year old's first "scary" movie -- to her it was scary -- to a normal adult like her father and I....it was pretty bad! The acting and dialogue was horrible! It was nice though to have the main girl character not be a size 1 to show my daughter that super thin is "not all that".
