Storyline:
It's 1971. Cathy Rush is a woman ahead of her time, and she's about to embark on an adventure for the ages. A new era is dawning in the country and in collegiate athletics, where a national champion will be crowned for the first time in women's basketball. In the lead up to this historical season, major universities are preparing their game plans to win that first title. Meanwhile a tiny all-women's Catholic college in Philadelphia has a more modest goal: find a coach before the season begins. Providentially, Cathy Rush is about to find Immaculata College. Recently married, Cathy is dealing with the aftermath of a truncated playing career. While cultural norms would have her staying at home, she's willing to do the hard work necessary to help her new team reach their goals-or perhaps she's just trying to achieve her unfulfilled dreams through them. From the beginning, her challenges are as imposing as the big-school teams Immaculata will face on the court. Cathy learns there is no ...

It is so hard to find a movie the whole family will enjoy. The Mighty Macs is that movie. It was so much fun to be part of the movie audience. The audience was cheering and clapping. Run to see this movie before it goes away!

This movie seems true to the time. It is a feel good movie with good acting. It will appeal to anyone over 50, espeically those who attended Catholic schools. I remember when this little school won the championships as I am from Philadelphia. Kind of nice to have a movie without violence, coarse language, or specila effects. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Call Me Moondancer

I have told many friends they must see Mighty Mac. When I saw it I did not know it was a real story. I had never heard of the immaculate college (or should I have said University) When I saw the credits I was even more astounded. I liked it because I remember having worked against all odds to get impossible things done (not always successfully). Even though I knew the filmmakers were probably taking some editorial liberties, I was almost rooting out loud for them during the film. Santa Ed

Just one of the best feel good movies I've ever seen! A true story that is so exciting. I took 6 kids ages 9 to 4 and they loved it as did all my friends who went. If you have kids, girls especially please take them it has great life lessons about what you can do if you put all your heart into your dream!!!!! All of the characters were upbeat and the acting was soo good. The camera really caught all the drama and exciting of a championship basketball game, Go go go see it!!! Denise Bonner

This inspirational movie will touch the hearts of all who see it, not just women's basketball fans. Because it is a true story, it provides a positive look at how important women athletics are and how hard work and determination will produce positive results. The acting is superb, and entertaining as well.
