Storyline:
As the curtain rises, Hannah hesitantly steps onto the stage for her theatrical debut in college. Yet before she can utter her first lines, Hannah-unscripted-collapses in front of the stunned audience. After countless medical tests, all signs point to one underlying factor: Hannah's difficult birth. This revelation is nothing compared to what she then learns from her parents: she was actually adopted ... after a failed abortion attempt. Bewildered, angered, and confused, Hannah turns for support to Jason, her oldest friend. Encouraged by his adventurous spirit, Hannah joins his group of friends on a Spring Break road trip, embarking on a journey to discover her hidden past ... and find hope for her unknown future. In the midst of her incredible journey, Hannah learns that every life is beautiful.

This could have been my story. My mother went to have me aborted when she was 4 1/2 months pregnant. I thought it was well written and acted. I definitely identified with her feelings and journey. I'm feeling blessed and thankful to God that this wasn't my story. Thank you for putting the nurse in my mothers path that changed her mind.

This movie has humor tears and drama along with a fantastic story and message that will leave you thinking. I am only sorry that the "film previews" of other trash had to be lived through before I got to this fantastic film. It will challenge you both in depth and bless you in entertainment. Lets hope that other films will come along that equal the satisfaction of this film.

Not preachy with its message! But then again, it didn't hide its message. This movie made me laugh and made me cry. (I'm a sucker for relationship movies!) The movie was well-casted and had a very clear lesson: forgiveness is possible! Thanks to all the directors, producers, actors, supporting cast, underwriters, behind-the-scenes crew, etc. who thought this project was worthy of their time and talents! Probably more for middle school age and on up because of the moral issue involved.

October Baby IS THE MOST LIFE GIVING movie I have ever seen. I laughed, I cried (about 10 times, no exaggeration...along w/ everyone else in the theater), I found HOPE! This is a MUST SEE! The actors/actresses were so life like. All of the roles were superbly portrayed. Jasmine Guy was exquisite! DO NOT MISS THIS MOVIE!
