Although I wanted to see what would happen, so much was lacking from this movie. It was a long movie. Directing was very poor. To much CGI was used. There was hardly any dialogue. But mainly - I didn't care about the characters. I wasn't rooting for the queen to die or scared if Snow White wouldn't make it. Not enough back story and furthering of the back story's presented to keep my interest. Definitely not worth seeing - especially at midnight. Theron is always great and unfortunately so was the trailer. To bad the movie couldn't compete with the trailer. All 5 people I was with walked away in regret and disappointment.

Review by jerry_dalo9 was quite accurate: Kristen Stewart & Chris Hemsworth have no chemistry and are awkward together. The story line doesn't play out. They try to capture in a one-liner towards the end - fail... The visuals were definitely impressive, but just watch it on your hi-def TV or projector at home - not worth going to the theater for this one.

An interesting cross section of people found mid afternoon at our showing. For myself, I bit and took my 14 year old daughter. Well, what can one say after viewing the Avengers other than, its really not worth your time at the theater...save it for RED Box. Screaming Charlene, mad and muddy Helmsworth, and some good effects that cannot save this yawner. I won't go into it the plot or the acting or why Kristen should just quit after the next Twilight. I will say that someone could have written in a nice 90 second ending in lieu of what we got. It was as if writers were saying to the camera crew..what do you want to do. I don't know says the camera crew, what do you want to do....and they pull a Congress. They do nothing. May those who made this go back to the SyFy channel and hone their craft!

Snow White and the Huntsman was stunningly filmed. The story/script was good, acting decent and direction was off. Yet very enjoyable and almost a must go just for the scenery, costumes and cinematography. The fighting scenes sucked. Snow white (Kristen Stewart) is her usual self, not a great actress yet, but interesting enough. Ditto for the Huntsman (the actor who played Thor). Charlize was gorgeous, acted very well for most scenes. I think the director slighted the actors a bit in their monologue scenes by keeping the actors a bit flat or uninteresting. Preteens and above should be able to enjoy this movie.

Though some of the scenery was beautiful, this movie I thought had terrible acting and was unnessacarily long. The only redeeming quality was the hot guys. I almost feel bad for Kirsten Stewart, she is getting type casted as a helpless girl that gorgeous guys must always save. Plus her acting is pretty monotone. If only mirror mirror and this movie would have swapped snow whites!
