Was not expecting much from this movie but my kids were very excited to see it. Actually really enjoyed it. It took a different spin on a story we've heard many times and made me really want to believe as well. Loved all the characters and the storyline was entertaining as well.

WOW!! This movie was much, much better than I expected. The visuals and special effects were stunning, even in regular 2D. I took three pre-teen boys and they really had a blast, and I was actually thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. The storyline surrounding the main character was extraordinarily done, and the whole story had a really heartwarming conclusion. For anyone who has ever had questions about the meaning and the purpose of your life, this movie will definitely touch your heart. I HIGHLY recommend this film for any family with young children, or even young adults who are in need of a lighthearted holiday movie. I give "Rise of the Guardians" two thumbs WAY up!!

My husband and I took our two kids, 9 and 6, to see Rise of the Guardians yesterday. All four of us really, really enjoyed it. The story was exciting enough to keep the grown-ups entertained, while the "scariness" of it was just enough that my kids did not have nightmares. A great movie!!

It takes a really good movie to keep young girls and an older boy entertained. By the end of the movie, the girls had been bouncing in their seats and the boy had been teary eyed. A huge win for all concerned. We will be going again soon and taking Grandma and Dad along. The plot is not overly complicated and just scary enough to have emotional resonance. The script is nothing to celebrate, but the voice acting is excellent. :)

This was an enjoyable movie that had a decent number of emotional moments to it, be it happy or sad or even a little sappy. You feel for the heroes as well as the villain, and it is a rather unexpected ride throughout. Hugh Jackman as the Easter Bunny was brilliant.
