It's the same premise as the other movies but how the plot ties into the third movie, coupled with the modernization of the characters and settings, really makes it an intense experience from start to finish. If you're a fan of the franchise, this is a must see!

I review this movie "WOT", (waste of time). It does little to explain or continue the story of the sister and son (Hunter). It is almost exactly like the second movie. I was hoping for some story meat and got veggies. It could be described as "SOS". It introduces a new young girl with the camera up her nose most of the time. I get it. She is an attractive girl. Enough already! At least no snot was dripping down her nose.

CLEARLY the worst in the series. I have a real love/hate relationship with this series. The only one i actually ENJOYED was 3. Now that said........ WTF!!!! They never actually explained why they are taping everything. The quality of film was movie quality. UMMMM isnt this supposed to be video in a continuing "found" video franchise? It's poorly written and poorly laid out. I liked the last one alot and REALLY wanted to like this one. It's borderline slasher flick stupid. Frankly I'm a bit sick of the bait n switch the showing you scenes not even in the movie. WEAK!!!!! If I were you I'd wait until its in Redbox or free on Netflix. If you have to see it take a date. Maybe she's easy to scare and at least you'll get some cuddling out of it. Also let me save you some time DO NOT hunt around the screen for something to happen like in previous movies. You dont need to search the corners. Movie is about half over before you really see anything "ghostly"

ok. you know the formula to the Paranormal Activity series. This movie is no different but it's still going to make you jump in your seat at times. The movies got some good laughs to lighten the mood at key points. Overall, if you've seen the previous movies in the series, you shouldn't miss out. Also, this one you're guaranteed to jump a few times. if you don't, you're probably not enjoying yourself and trying to be a tough guy. get into the movie people!

Answered some questions from the first two movies, expounded a bit from number three. Looking forward to number five (more sequels, of course) if only to have all my questions answered. All in all not my favorite of the bunch, but defiantly not the worst. Made me jump a good amount of times. Good to see if a fan, best if you love the series.
