Storyline:
Three amateurs stickup a Mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse. Brad Pitt plays the hitman hired to track them down and restore order. Killing Them Softly also features Richard Jenkins , James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, and Vincent Curatola. Max Casella, Trevor Long, Slaine and Sam Shepard also make appearances.

This was an awful movie. The plot, language, and acting were all very poor. We kept thinking it would get better but it didn't. Finally walked out along with others midway. Don't waste your time or money.

Save Brad, the performances are sleep-inducing, script is muddled, where did the "100" critic ratings come from. One minute they're all driving 1970's cars, then a new Lexus shows up. Gandolfino is boring and his dialogue runs forever with out a point. How do they get the Pitt's of Hollywood to be in these things. All about the money, no heart, the whole point to the movie is in the last 60 seconds. Nice cinematography, but direction was a mess. Rent it.

I dont think I have ever seen a worst film. Impressions are given that it is a mob shoot em up movie and it turns out to be a political diatribe of Bush, the Obama campaign (always on a radio or TV in a bar) One or two songs and they are from the fifties. Now the mob are a bunch of old timers that talk trash about women and cant get an approval for a hit. The cars are from the 70s. Nothing went together. But the shooting was super loud to wake you up from all the boring stupid conversation that droned on and on.......DONT GO...

Movie was horrible!!!! Everyone in the movie theatre thought it was horrible. People were getting up and leaving. Don't be fooled. Just because it has Brad Pitt in it does not mean it's good. Save your money folks. See something else.

Don't waste your $$! I went b/c Brad Pitt was in this movie. Unlike what I can only take to be as a 'follow the crowd mind set', looking at the other reviews; I certainly did not see this as one of his best movies. I went to be entertained, not for an economics lesson on our already dismal economy. So the hit guy didn't get 'full pay'. Give me a break!
