Pretty good action and some very funny lines. But the story line is just silly. I'm not that deep when it comes to movies--I just go to be entertained. But this story line bordered on a farce. Kind of like Undercover Brother but this was supposed to be actually serious. Too bad. Washington and Wahlberg were great! The movie had its moments but left you disappointed at the end. Some good comedy but little else.

There is no internal logic to the movie, it just whirls. There are ties between characters, and for an action movie there is a plot, but it doesn't make sense. In the end, it doesn't matter much. The movie is about action and charm and Denzel and Mark deliver charm and the movie has some good action scenes. The odd thing is that the pairing makes Mark look younger and Denzel older. Each exudes their own brand of charm when actually delivering the same material. The dialogue actually gets repeated in places by the other character with a delivery that is their own and not intended to be ironic, well, most of the time. It was a great hour and a half. And a naked truly beautiful woman. Thumbs up. If you expect more...ask Peter Bogdanovith about art and reality.

im a big fan of denzel, so i was confident that this movie was gonna be good and it was..it was funny violent and very witty...i highly recommend it

2 Guns was better than expected. Denzel Washington does most of the heavy lifting on the acting side. Bill Paxton also serves up a convincing role. Though Wahlberg isn't the strongest actor, he delivers complex quips with great timing. Wahlberg and Washington have very good chemistry. 2 Guns starts off very promising, but immediately starts to drag. It then teases with what looks like a thoughtful plot, but that all unravels during the 2nd half of the movie. 2 Guns seems like it's made of various "that would be cool" plot elements strung together that don't blend to make a cohesive movie. There are definite plot holes and the movie ignores the modern technologies that would prevent the undetected movement depicted in 2 Guns. The special effects and CGI are pretty poor. 2 Guns is entertaining, but very flawed. There's nothing during or after the credits. If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

Denzel & Mark were excellent in this movie. They are a great team. I hope they have a sequel in the works...A MUST SEE MOVIE!
