THIS MOVIE WAS EXCELLENT. I have no idea how someone could say it was crap. It was funny, brilliantly acted and Leonardo DiCaprio will win awards for his PERFECT performance. Jonah Hill was excellent as well. I loved the movie, I'm going to see it again.

Others sure might love it, but everyone's opinion worth to be publicized. So my opinion is this movie has too many drugs/cocaine, too may porn scenes, beyond sexy, beyond anything. Every 5 minutes I'd say. I went to watch it with my mom because I like Leonado's movie but this one kind of disappointing me other than the sex scenes but the movie is so slow because it spends so much time on the happy-hookers-cocaine part but the conflict of the movie where things started to get FBI's attention is like 2hours pass the whole movie and it makes you feel bored. So that's my opinion.

This movie. Wow. As the title says, it is all raunch and filth and debauchery and everything glorious (and sad) about Wall Street in all it's "glory!" It's the early 90's, commerce is booming, and excess knows no bounds. This movie lets you revel in the sensory overload these men cultivated and lived, and revel in it you will, but through it all you kind of hate yourself for knowing that you would have partied JUST AS HARD had you been in their shoes, and then when it all finally comes crashing down, you're left with the same gut punch they experience (albeit with way less jail time.) Scorsese did an unbelievable job bringing this story to life. No detail left out, no detail overdone - though the whole movie was "overdone" by virtue of that which was Jordan's life. At the end, I found myself STILL liking Jordan Belfort, after all of his swarmy ridiculousness, which is all due to DiCaprio's insane acting ability (what a banner year he's having!) and Scorsese's talent.

After one hour of this incredibly disappointing film, my party of three left. There were many reasons for leaving the least of which was the intense drug use, explicit sexual encounters and the endless gut wrenching language. Language that was disrespectful of woman and humanity at large. The scenes were graphic and would qualify as hardcore porn. The gifted actors were lost in the intensity and the shock. The most interesting reflection is that this film was released on Christmas day. Now I do not consider myself a self-righteous zealot or a person that has not enjoyed a depiction of a sexual encounter based on human connection in a respectful visual, but people this is way over the top and the reviews need to say so in graphic detail. At least provide the consumer with enough information in order to make a choice based on truth. NOT "wildly entertaining, Nudity and Language kinda of information just does not reveal what is in store. Thank you for the opportunity to express my self.

As someone that relies on Fandango reviews, I thought it was only right that I write one and warn people not to waste their money here. I'm a HUGE fan of Wall Street (maybe because of my finance experience), so I was pretty excited for this movie to release. The movie, however, was just bad. It was so little about finance and 95% of the movie was about cocaine and having sex with hookers and hoes. Honestly, the movie went way overboard and felt like it was dragging on for an eternity. Again, I'm a huge fan of Wall Street movies (Margin Call, Inside Job, and heck, even the Wall Street Gordon Gecco movies were fun), but this was simply not worth my time or money. Even as someone who loves the finance industry and craves for business-oriented movies, this was a complete waste of my time. I'd highly recommend sitting at home and watching Margin Call on Netflix instead.
