Brought my 12 year old and my 6 year both were bored out of their minds and we left after 35 minutes. I hate that I wasted my money:( Very slow moving, humor was pretty much non-existent.

I took my 7-year-old daughter to see this movie and we both thought it was great. The entire theater was laughing out loud during several parts. Lots of action and subtle humor, too.

I thought the production quality was top notch and the story was good. However, there were scenes that depicted criminal attitudes and others that were just crude (farting) that were just not suitable for our 4 and 6 year old grand daughters. Ones that age are fascinated enough with such crudeness without emphasizing it. Ron

It was just okay. The beginning was off putting - it had me wondering about being there with my kids and if it really was a kid movie. It was a bit on the crass side at times. I thought it would be more of an Ice Age type of humor and this was not that type of movie. It had its funny / nice moments but also some moments that were more mean spirited. Knowing what I know now, we would not pay to go to the movies to see it. It was our youngest son's birthday yesterday and he was torn between going bowling and going to see the Nut Job. We wish we had gone bowling instead. Or seen Frozen again.

It was date night for me and my 3yo son, and he wanted to see the Nut Job. The story was good, engaging for adults and enough action and calamity for the kids to laugh at and enjoy.
