MISSION IMPOSSIBLE HAS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITE FORMS OF ENTERTAINMENT SINCE THE PETER GRAVES EREA. TOM CRUISE HAS FILLED THAT VOID COMPLETELY AND WITH SUCH GREAT STYLE. THIS MOVIE ROCKS AND AS USUAL TOM GIVES US SPINE WRENCHING MOMENTS AND WATCHING TOM RUN LIKE THE WIND, FLY LIKE A BIRD AND SCALE TALL BUILDINGS IS REALLY WHAT THE MOVIE IS ALL ABOUT. THEY COULD HAVE WORKED ON THE PLOT I GUESS BUT WHO GOES TO SEE AN ACTION MOVIE STRICTLY FOR THE PLOT. IT ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS FROM THE PREVIOUS MOVIES (WON'T SPOIL THE ENDING). I WATCHED ALL OF THE M.I MOVIES BEFORE THIS ONE AND ENJOYED THIS ADDITION AND I HAVE ALREADY PRE-ORDERED IT ON AMAZON.COM TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR RUN, DON'T WALK TO SEE THIS MOVIE, BUT SAY TOM BRING VING RHAMES BACK FOR THE WHOLE MOVIE NEXT TIME PLEASEEEE!!! I'M JUST SAYING - JUST ME SD

This is an excellent series--though I have never seen the other MI movies, I now know what i was missing out on. This movie in particular, though I have nothing to compare it to, was still very good and very well done. From the actors, to the action scenes, the plot everything was done well and the movie made for an exciting experience. Tom cruise of course is wonderful as an actor and action figure in this and really made the movie what it is. There were some loopholes plotholes potentially but still a really good movie. You didnt want to miss a minute of it and the different scenarios from various countries and landmarks from the kremlin to dubai were outstanding too....really good movie you shouldn't miss it for sure...

The Mission Impossible series is all about impeccable attention to detail and plausible situations. This movie misses on both of these accounts. Was it the idea of the "producer" of this movie to insult fans intentionally? The poor attempt to introduce humor into this movie was amateur at best, and certainly unnecessary. Sure it produced a chuckle the first time but groans on its repeated attempts. Humor should be left to the comedians, next time hire one. I ponder why the director showed a shot of the Russian General's pants and how they were several inches too long, did the Director just not care? Should makeup be fired? Should research be fired? Is the Russian military simply poor dressers? Somehow I think not. This coupled with so many implausible drawn out action and acting scenes made this Mission Impossible one that I regret being made. Did I say drawn out acting scenes in an Action movie, yes I did. See it for yourselves, decide for yourself!

Visually stunning and packed with action. The characters were strong and well defined. With a compelling story. Paula Patton's character Jane Carter was a delight to watch. Whether she a team member struggling to contain her rage. Conducting multi-million dollar transactions. Ensnaring a billionaire playboy. Or holding her own in a fight.

Don't overthink the movie. it's a good action movie. Not a great plot, but we saw it at Imax and thought it was great. Just enjoy it.
