Storyline:
No one can escape from the aggressive predatory Xenomorphs, and shortly after the Antarctic bloodshed in AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004), a crippled Predator ship crash-lands on the dense forest of Gunnison, Colorado. As a result, a vicious Predalien hybrid, along with numerous Stage 1 Xenomorphs, or Face-huggers, scatter in all directions, infecting everyone unfortunate enough to cross their path. Once more, the Earth is a battlefield, as both extraterrestrial species are fighting for supremacy, and the humans become stuck in the middle. Now, the fate of the entire city rests in the hands of Sheriff Eddie Morales, and a handful of residents. Can they ensure the fate of humankind?

I actually enjoyed about 4 seconds of this movie, watching the alien spacecraft crash, after that it was all down hill. the movie SUCKED, you could never get a good look at the alien or predator, it was always lit so dark, and was continually raining, and - oh how original, they have to go down into the sewer system where its dark and scary and encounter the aliens. the ingredients on a cereal box has more creative writing than the script of this movie, the dialog was hideous, you felt no empathy with any character, the audience burst into laughter at serious moments..."Mommy is the monster gone' frikkin LAME

The cast is hardly A-list, barely B-list, but the quality of acting is soon dealt with as most townspeople are killed. With the focus on the Predator hunting the Aliens, the cast is secondary anyhow, and chances are that you?ll root for the Predator to wipe everyone and everything out. Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is such an improvement over the first movie, Alien vs. Predator, that it should really be considered the first. AVP is rated PG-13, most likely to draw a larger audience, and as a result somewhat suffers the blood lust quality the respective series? are known for. AVP:R, on the other hand, is rated R and has plenty of blood and action. One positive aspect of the first movie is that it sets up the second movie ? it gives the background on the Predators breeding and hunting the Aliens, and of course a Predalien is born. The door for a continuance in this second movie is somewhat left open, not that the series needs one since there?s no timeline or story that must be in check.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE WOULD GET A REFUND OR NOT FINISH THIS MOVIE. THEY ARE EITHER OLD AND VERY BORING OR LIKES TO GET REFUNDS. THIS IS THE BEST AVP MOVIE EVER AND I LOVE EVERY BIT OF THIS MOVIE. CERTAINLY A MUST GO, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A TRUE ALIEN/PREDATOR FAN. IVE BEEN WATCHING THE ALIEN/PREDATOR SERIES AS A CHILD, AND I LOVED EVERY BIT OF THIS MOVIE. LOOKING FORWARD FOR THE DVD.

First off let me say this, if you are expecting ALIEN or PREDATOR then do not go see this movie. Now if you want to see a good action movie with some great effect shots then this is it. I dont now why people keep bashing AVP-R, when AVP came out everyone complianed that it was PG-13, no gore, bulky predators, etc, etc. Now AVP-R is rated R, all the gore, great creature effects, the predator is back to looking right and people are still complaining. Now everyone is complaining about the hospital scene. People come on, that is exactly what an alien would do, why does this surprise you, do you think they spared woman and children in ALIENS on the colony. The Strause Bros did a good job in giving us what we wanted some *** kicking predator and people dying. GO SEE THIS MOVIE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME, GET YOUR POPCORN AND ENJOY THE SHOW! For everyone else go home and watch E.T if you cant handle some real alien *** kicking.

a good re-visit of the things we like about this franchise and a nice send off. I was not a fan of the later Alien movies and would hate to see this one even more re-gurgitated. We laughed, we saw the surprises coming and we still enjoyed it. it's just a movie and it's a good afternoon's diversion. use it to *** a date's "gross threshold" or general Sfi-Fi IQ. I may or may not get this on DVD, if they make another sequel i'll probably just watch it on video
