Saw this summer at a preview party. Actor and director where awesome. Movie is fantastic. Funny, moving, emmotional. This movie has it all.

This movie had everything right! The filming was beautiful, lots of bright colors, etc...a gorgeous film as well as a thought-provoking story! It does well what many "Christian" movies don't do, and that's to convey values without preaching a sermon. One flashback was a little difficult for me to understand, but other than that, the movie is clear (even though over half is in subtitles//main character speaks a lot of Spanish.) Moving but not hokey. Definitely more of a girl's movie, in my opinion. My favorite part is how the main character is portrayed as a good man--strong and kind and pure, while being extremely attractive and understanding. As a woman, I didn't feel objectified, which is how I usually feel after many Hollywood hits. An ultimate feel good movie!

I was able to preview this movie a few months ago, and it really changed my life. This is the story of a life time.

Beautiful cinematography! This is a must-see movie that won the Toronto Film Festival. This is how movies should be made: powerful and emotionally wrenching without the use of sex or gore.

True to its description, Bella portrays a love story that goes beyond romantic love. It is about second chances, guilt, forgiveness, redemption, and humanity. Eduardo's character, Jose, portrays a "true man" -- one who takes responsibility for his actions and takes the opportunity to redeem himself in the process. Without being preachy, Bella shows us how the choices we make later come back to haunt us and how listening to our inner voice can save our lives and make them better than we ever thought possible. It is an optimistic and uplifting film that will inspire you to accomplish things you never thought possible. The acting was fantastic. The lighthearted moments kept a serious theme from getting too heavy.
