Storyline:
The last time we saw Danny Ocean's crew, they were paying back ruthless casino mogul Terry Benedict after stealing millions from him. However, it's been a while since they've come back together, which is all about to change. When one of their own, Reuben Tishkoff, builds a hotel with another casino owner, Willy Bank, the last thing he ever wanted was to get cut out of the deal personally by the loathsome Bank. Bank's attitude even goes so far as to finding the amusement in Tishkoff's misfortune when the double crossing lands Reuben in the hospital because of a heart attack. However, Danny and his crew won't stand for Bank and what he's done to a friend. Uniting with their old enemy Benedict, who himself has a vendetta against Bank, the crew is out to pull off a major plan; one that will unfold on the night Bank's newest hot spot opens up. They're not in this for the money, but for the revenge.

Great film, has all the usual moments of comedy and suspense - Pacino does a great job as the villain and Clooney, Pitt, Damon and gang seem a little more light-hearted this time... they actually all seem like real friends getting together and having a laugh - no acting at all ... just being buddies. Definitely a must see - Oceans fans will love it!

If you loved "Oceans 11" but hated "Ocean's 12" like I did, you'll be happy to know that "Ocean's 13" brings back much of the fun that made "11" so enjoyable. The boys are back together and back in Vegas, which right off the bat is a big plus. A fun popcorn movie, this "Oceans" installment revolves around a "revenge heist" as payback for wrongdoings to one of Ocean's own. The dialog is great, and the repartee between Clooney and Pitt is, as usual, silly and fun. They work so well together, and the little nods to their real lives, which are reported so extensively in People Magazine and on gossip blogs everywhere, made me chuckle. In addition, the rest of Ocean's crew have their hilarious moments (Casey Affleck and Scott Caan crack me up) that were so lacking in "12", and the addition of Garcia to the crew and his reaction to Bank's (Pacino) downfall is priceless. So many fun little twists and turns made this just a mindlessly fun and enjoyable flick.

If you like the laid back style of Soderbough and none of the high profile A list actors in this movie bother you, then this flick is a must see. Better than the second by far and more ambitious than the first, this movie has something for almost everyone. Those who love clues, hints and implicating details will love to see the movie several times. The scrip appeals to those who love detail and 'who done it' freaks. Although here it is mostly "whats happening". If you cannot be super caffiene awake every minute that you are in the theatre, then you might just enjoy the thrust of the story, the I am just being myself acting of Clooney, Pitt , Damon and company, and the sounds and sights of Vegas.

The Oceans franchise, like McDonalds is always consistently mediocre.However, compared to Pirates, Oceans looks like Gone With the Wind. What next? ... Oceans 14 will have Robert De Niro building a moat around his new "Casino Greed," with carniverous fish guarding the Casino. George Clooney will then appear on water skis and "jump the shark". Time to hang em' up guys.
