Storyline:
American Maxwell Smart works for a Government spy agency in an administrative capacity. When the agency's head office is attacked, the Chief decides to assign Maxwell as a spy and partners him with sexy Agent 99, much to her chagrin. The duo nevertheless set off to combat their attackers by first parachuting off an airplane and landing in Russian territory - followed closely by an over seven feet tall, 400 pound goon, known simply as Dalip. The duo, handicapped by Maxwell's antics, will eventually have their identities compromised, and may be chalked up as casualties, while back in America their attackers have already planted a bomb that is set-up to explode in a concert.

Get Smart was my favourite television show, and I really worried about this movie. I knew that if anyone could pull it off, it was Steve Carell, but I questioned whether it could be pulled off at all. Still, when the opportunity came to see a press screening I jumped on the occasion. And I'm very glad I did. Although I never felt like I was watching an extended version of the show, I think I like it better that way. Many of the characters, while still having the same names and same nuances, aren't who you remember them to be, but the cast is so strong on its own, it wouldn't make sense to spend two hours imitating the old actors. The gags were perfect and many were unexpected, the jokes were laugh out loud funny (and I don't often do that) and the nods they had to the show were spot-on(especially the appearance of Agent 13). One thing I didn't like was how down Smart was on himself at times. I missed the self-confidence of Adams' character, but all in all it was a delightful movie.

These days, most comedies rely solely on slapstick or crude humor to be "funny," but it only ends up being lame. This movie features my favorite type of comedy. The type where it's clean, but non-sensical. It is simply JUST funny. I was in tears in some parts. Please go see this movie. There are so many movies that just waste your $10.50, but this isn't one of them. This is truly a good time.

Get Smart will keep you laughing from start to end, no doubt. Steve Carrell (the main protagonist) was really a funny character too. My favourite part was when The Rock stapled one of his officer's heads - that was a real good gag. Despite the laughs and whatever, the plot stayed intact and the storyline did not become removed. I, actually, didn't find anything to not like about this movie - and it was truly a knockout.

THis movie was excellent. It had dumb humor but for the most part was fairly intellectual unlike zohan which was complete crap. Steve carrell and Anne Hatheway worked extremely well together and i hope they make another Get smart because this had me and my wife in tears we were laughing so hard. Definitely check this movie out its worth the money. Also for once they sorta stuck with the old TV show which was a nice change.

THIS IS ONE WORTH SEEING ON THE BIG SCREEN. Get Smart is funny and clever and straight up hilarious. Although, I will admit, it didn?t stay true to the original show, it did bring it?s own justice. Steve Carell offers up a great performance is the almost-clumsy-baffoonic hero we all love, and Ann Hathaway just plain kicksbooty, yeah (might as well keep it clean). And, of course, Dwayne ?The Rock? Johnson is a sexylicious hunka actor who?s onscreen kiss with Carell was one of the funniest things I?ve ever seen outta him. So overall, Get Smart is an awesome film. It touched my heart, and, I am sure, millions of Americans hearts. (Of course this may just be my convoluted thinking to try and get you in there and be traumatized by this movie, but hey, when in Rome. Wait. That makes no sense.ah well; just take my word for it.). Go see this movie in theaters while you still have the chance.
