Born in New York, New York, Michael began his career in theatre at the age of 8. After appearing in numerous plays and musicals including the original cast of Steven Sondheim's "Assassins" and a two year run on Broadway in "Les Miserables", Michael has turned to television and film, appearing most notably in Fox's "Party of Five" (1994) and his critically-acclaimed performance as Benny in the HBO special, _Someone Had to Be Benny (1996) (TV)_. Michael is a talented singer, appearing in over 5 albums, and an avid golfer. He currently attends Yale University where he will graduate in 2004.
