After graduating from San Diego State University, Christian Sesma began writing a short film in which he could pursue his newfound passion of filmmaking after reading "Robert Rodriguez' 10 minute film school". In 2004 Christian created his first short film, entitled Cycles, which became an official selection at the Palm Springs International Festival Of Short Films, garnering a wave of local press. Following that was a second short, titled Things that go bump in the night. And in 2005 Christian made his first no-budget feature in the vein of Clerks and El Mariachi, a teen thriller titled 6:30 (Six-Thirty). Christian partnered with Westlake Entertainment Group to distribute the 6:30 (2006) DVD domestically, which was released to all major retailers in August of 2006. In early 2007 Christian made On Bloody Sunday. A feature length teen horror film, distributed through Warner Home Video at the end of 2007. And in fall 2008 Christian partnered with Exec Producer Denise DuBarry Hay to produce his action/comedy Shoot The Hero!, due out in 2009. Also in-development is Deep Red, an action/horror film, Anexo, an Latin thriller based on true events and a family friendly fantasy/adventure film called Wormhole. Christian Sesma is thoroughly committed to becoming a mainstream franchise filmmaker with brand recognition; as the next generation of young, Latino filmmakers.
