Chris O'Brocki was born on April 7, 1984, in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. He began acting at the age of 5 in numerous stage performances, and continued to do so throughout his childhood until around the age of 12, when he took a five-year hiatus to concentrate on school. At the age of 16, he began making a return to theatre beginning with roles in productions such as Little Shop of Horrors, Night of January 16th, A Typically A Typical Day, Meet Me in St. Louis, as well as several others. By the time he finished High School, he had been Vice-President of the Drama Department and had won several acting award s. He stepped into the film industry with a minor role in Touchstone Pictures' Step Up, and now is a fast-rising star in Maryland, as his film career continues with roles in Live Free or Die Hard, Misplaced, I Do&I Don't, The Life of Harry Ape and the upcoming sequels Fear of Clowns 2, Step Up 2: The Streets, and Deadlands: Trapped.

Work began on "Eerie II" and "III" shortly after, but due to production conflicts the sequels were scrapped along with the original film's release.Has a younger half-sister named Alison.His favorite holidays are Halloween and St. Patrick's Day.Auditioned for a role in The Final Destination (2009).Although unable to audition for Scream 4 (2011) due to scheduling, he was able to land one of the leading roles in the movie-within-the movie spin-off of the Scream (1996/I) franchise known as 'Stab', which has been featured in Scream 2 (1997), Scream 3 (2000), and Scream 4 (2011).
