Born in East London in Mile End.She is an Arsenal fan.Acheived a black belt in Karate.Made a cameo appearance with Indian actor Govinda in the 1994 film Rock Dancer (1995).A former model.Was youngest Page 3 girl ever at age 16.In 1983, at the peak of her Page Three modeling career, Sam had her breasts insured for $500,000."Touch Me (I Want Your Body)" went to number one in 15 countries and she had seven other top 10 singles, dismissing the notion that she was all pin-up looks and no singing talent.Her first band was called SFX in 1983. They recorded the songs "17 and Holding", "My Old Man", & "Aim To win" but sadly never broke into the charts. Sam went into to become a top model and then returned back to the music business in 1986 as a solo artist.She formed a band in 1995 called Sox, they entered the song "Go for the Heart" in a competition to represent the UK in a Song for Europe, of which the winner would go on to represent the UK in the Eurovision song contest. Sox did not win.Ranked #81 on VH1's 100 Sexiest Artists.
