Born in Toronto, Canada to immigrant parents, Michael's father came to America from the Philippines on a M.I.T. scholarship. His mother and grandmother came across the Atlantic by boat, as life in Poland was difficult. Michael's grit and hard demeanor can be credited to his grandmother who at 4'10" is a force to still reckon with - and she's 90. Michael grew up listening to Michael Jackson and at the age of five was seen on 'Tiny Talent Time' dancing to 'Billy Jean'. Since the age of six, Michael has been playing and composing music with the piano. Classically trained, Michael has won numerous award s including the Kiwanis Music Festival. Michael's authentic flavor to his acting has gained him quick attention as an actor. Working off real life experiences is his currency. He currently trains under David Rotenberg (ProActor's Lab). If Michael isn't acting he is being creative in some way, even with his mashed potatoes.

Placing 1st in an Ironman Competition, Michael was named 'Top Athlete' in his all boys high school of 1100 students.Michael was voted 'most likely to be famous' by his grade 8 peers. He won't let them down.
